Stir-Fried Pork with Basil:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin or pork shoulder, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red chili, thinly sliced (adjust to spice preference)
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Cooked jasmine rice for serving
  • Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Pork:
    • Slice the pork into thin strips.
  2. Prepare Sauce:
    • In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Set aside.
  3. Stir-Fry Pork:
    • Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add minced garlic and sliced pork. Stir-fry until the pork is browned and cooked through.
  4. Add Vegetables:
    • Add sliced bell pepper and onion to the wok. Continue to stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.
  5. Sauce and Basil:
