Delicious Caramel Tea Recipe: A Sweet Twist to Your Tea Time

Here’s a simple recipe for caramel tea:

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons black tea leaves or 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Caramel syrup (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions:

  1. Brew the Tea:
    • In a saucepan, bring one cup of water to a boil.
    • Add the black tea leaves or tea bags and let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  2. Prepare the Caramel:
    • In a separate saucepan, heat sugar over medium heat until it melts and turns into a golden-brown caramel. Be cautious not to burn it.
    • Once caramelized, add a little water and stir until the caramel dissolves into the water, creating a syrup.
  3. Combine Tea and Caramel:
    • Add the milk to the brewed tea and bring it to a simmer.
    • Stir in the caramel syrup, adjusting the quantity based on your sweetness preference.
  4. Add Vanilla:
    • Mix in the vanilla extract for added flavor. Stir well.
  5. Strain and Serve:
    • Strain the tea into cups to remove tea leaves or bags.
    • Serve your caramel tea hot and enjoy!

Feel free to adjust the sugar and caramel levels to suit your taste. You can also top it with a dollop of whipped cream or sprinkle a bit of cinnamon for extra flavor.
