Ingredients:
For the Marinade:
– 1 lb boneless chicken, beef, or lamb (cut into cubes)
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon ground paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
– 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Juice of 1 lemon
– 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
For Grilling:
– Skewers (wooden or metal)
– Sliced vegetables (bell peppers, onions, etc.)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, turmeric, salt, pepper, lemon juice, yogurt, and olive oil to create the marinade.
- Add the cubed meat to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated meat onto skewers, alternating with sliced vegetables if desired.
- Grill the skewers for a few minutes on each side until the meat is cooked and has a nice char.
- Serve the kebabs with pita bread, rice, or as part of a larger meal.
