Mutton Korma/Qorma Recipe Special Dish at Eid ul Adha:

Mutton Korma is a rich and flavorful dish popular in South Asian cuisine. All over the world when Eid ul Adha Celebrate and sacrifice their animals on Allah Path and complete Sunah of Hazrat Ibrahim and Ismail AS. So all peoples make dishes after distributing Meet to needy and relative’s. Here’s a recipe to make Mutton Korma/Qorma:

Eid ul Adha Qurbani ki Eid

Ingredients:

– 500 grams mutton, cut into pieces

– 3 tablespoons oil or ghee

– 2 medium-sized onions, finely chopped

– 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste

– 2 teaspoons ground coriander

– 1 teaspoon ground cumin

– 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

– 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust according to your spice preference)

– 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

– 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

– 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

– 1 cup plain yogurt, whisked

– Salt to taste

– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

– Sliced almonds and fried onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Heat oil or ghee in a large pot or pressure cooker over medium heat.

2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears.

4. Add the mutton pieces to the pot and cook on medium-high heat until they are browned on all sides. Stir occasionally to ensure even browning.

5. Reduce the heat to low and add ground coriander, ground cumin, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves. Mix well to coat the mutton with the spices.

6. Cook the spices with the mutton for a few minutes to enhance their flavors.

7. Add the whisked yogurt to the pot and mix well to combine. This will help tenderize the meat and create a creamy base for the Korma/Qorma.

8. Season with salt according to your taste.

9. If using a pressure cooker, cover the cooker and cook on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes or until the mutton is tender. If using a regular pot, cover it with a lid and simmer on low heat for 1.5 to 2 hours or until the mutton is tender. Add water as needed to maintain the desired consistency.

10. Once the mutton is cooked, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, sliced almonds, and fried onions if desired.

11. Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.

Note: You can adjust the spice level according to your preference by increasing or reducing the amount of red chili powder. Additionally, you can add a pinch of saffron soaked in milk for a more luxurious flavor if desired.
