Ingredients:
- 500g mutton, cubed
- 2 large turnips, peeled and diced
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated

- 2 green chilies, chopped (optional)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot or pressure cooker over medium heat.
- Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for another minute.
- Add the cubed mutton pieces to the pot and cook until they are browned on all sides.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and green chilies (if using) to the pot and cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
- Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste. Mix well to coat the mutton evenly with the spices.
- Add enough water to cover the mutton and bring the mixture to a boil.
